Who, I understand, is the only person who actually comes back here.

Just to let him know, I'm trying to finish up the latest GC episode. Once done, I hope to post it sometime this weekend.

No, I've not given up, it's just hard to write stories when you've only got around 30 seconds a day to do it.

Come on, TA. If you were Eric Burns, 30 seconds would be enough time for two, three thousand words, easily.

Well, no need to get snarky.

(thank you, don't forget to tip your waitresses)

But, for better or worse, it's up.

Sorry TA, being a curious squid I return on a daily basis as, I believe, does BobtheGoat & Maracus. We just didn't feel the need to interupt your muse while you were obviously working so hard.

Very nicely done sir.

Warped, twisted and with a certain evilness that we've come to appreciate so much. Meanwhile, back at Schmo?

Narratio is correct, I make it out here usually 3+ times a week. I just ph34r his skillz for knowing this while he (purportedly) spends many weeks a year in inhospitable, godless lands without Internet. >shudder<

He truly must be teh 0|\|3.

(Sorry, no comments on the new story, got many Ars articles to get through. Will post much deserved praise later.)

His stunned silence is all the praise I need.

What ever happened to your desire for money?

All those untraceable emails stating that, for a small consideration, another chapter could be made available for those who felt generous... <nudge, nudge, wink, wink!>

Or was the IRS closing in?

Actually, it was the Stinky Hermit Guild (local 302) that pointed out the whole "Money is Evil" along with the usual admonitions about avoiding evil mind control carrots.

Hmmm, I had a rep from local 5127 drop by just yesterday. Of course, here in Kazakhstan they're called "The Permanent Commission for the Suppression of Unwholesome Activities, Promulgation of Social Equality and Divestment of Instruments Promoting Social Injustice".

He also said that money was evil and, in order to save me from damnation, he'd be willing to take it all and spend it on water powered pogosticks for Nuns.

Oddly though, he never mentioned mind controlling carrots. Evil or otherwise. Maybe they're not a problem here as we're in a scrub desert. Or maybe they'd already gotten to him?

Sorry for the lng absence of praise. I finally got around reading at about 2am the night I first posted. Although I primarily enjoy the series because of the oblique way most things are referenced, having spent 8 hours at work followed by about 5 hours of packing did not leave my mind in a state to comprehend the story. It was something about mothers and evil alien overlords (... I, for one, welcome our... sorry, too much /.).

Rereading it in a concious state allowed me to fully appreciate the subtle nuiances of the story. The cats, Phil's amazing acting ability, Roger's on going Japanese school girl fetish, all of which was so carefully masked by the verbage of the story and only vaguely alluded to. Some of the metaphysical imagery was particularly effective. And the underlying use of surrealism to... umm... counterpoint the... er.... Sorry, I can't stop thinking about the Shimo/Carla relationship. There you go adding plotty goodness to GC again.

Okay, now I'm just putting words on the page. It boils down to: Good story. Me wish me write that gud. Donut for author.

You'll note that it's not just any donut his overly hairy paw is proffering. That's a strawberry jelly filled, honey glazed choclate donut... with multi coloured sprinkles!
..
..
I think he really like the story.

Hah Hah! Well done Bob, my evil hench goat! That author has been caught by your soul stealing donut! He has become just another mindless automaton in our Legion of Evil (TM) Evil or Very Mad

And now, we shall continue with our nefarious plan to conquer UH. Onward my goat, onward to the Hydrogen Guy forum and let us lie in wait for JIM! This time I think we shall use pretzels. He'd never suspect a pretzel.

Evil or Very Mad

Aww, but I just got my combination churro-squisher/soul-crusher working. Can we at least use that on Steveo~? I think he might have a hard time resisting deep-fried sugary goodness ... of EVIL!!! Muwahahahahaha! Evil or Very Mad

PS: I have no malevolence, just look at my .sig. This is more of misguided boredom.
