That doesn't do much to explain why every sentence ends in BRAINS.
Good chapter! A bold new direction! And an even stronger bond between the GH/HG universe!

That chapter was a lot of fun. So who's Ross and Max then?
Man, I missed my Grayhound fix. Of course, you're still a bastard for leaving Bob in mortal danger, but hey! New chapters are awesome! _________________ Unitedheroes.net - We're not lazy, we're... um... productivity-challenged. |

JIM, I'd encourage you to read your own stuff, it's quite good.
Oh, and if anyone is curious;
Growing up on various beach trips, my Ma would read to us from a tale called <a href="http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Poor%20Mouth%3A%20A%20Bad%20Story%20about%20the%20Hard%20Life:1975939997;_ylt=AlYAEe2DpCJyU3JwHLMP9i8bFt0A;_ylu=X3oDMTBuZzhkb2dlBF9zAzE0NDAzNTg2BGx0AzQEc2VjA3Ny?&clink=dmps/.22.the_poor_mouth.22./ctx=mid:1,pid:3001136402,pdid:1,pos:1,spc:14489115,date:20040623,srch:kw,x:1,test:NOTEST">Flann O'Brien's "The Poor Mouth"</a>. I heartily encourage you to pick up a copy, if for no other reason that possibly explain a few long running jokes I tend to make for my own amusement.
One of those jokes deals with the English arriving to teach the Irish how to speak. The English note that while utterly miserable and nearly impossible to civilize, the Irish were oddly quite respectful in their conversation, continually refering to them as "Sar", (as in "Aye, sar", "as ye wish, sar", etc.)
I'd also note that the brough had little to do with the delightful coincedence that "sar" meant "son of a bitch" in Gaelic.
And thus Gaffer's amusement. _________________ The Grayhound Chronicles

An exellent chapter-I'm gpoing to have to move fast to get to the hydrogen chapter this draws from so taht I wont be caught flat foted by the next GC post.
A pleasurable sort of rush though.
I think i may have gotten another victi-erm fan for you JR though he's one of the impulsive types with typos. I alsmo killed him for pointing out the three typos on it for no less than 2 and a half hours.
Heh, a reader is a reader i guess... |

Are you nuts? I WANT folks to point out typos. I'll happily correct them where I can and prove evasive about the ones i have no intention of correcting.
Thanks! _________________ The Grayhound Chronicles

Well the main thing wasn't the fact that eh found the, i found them too, it was that he wouldn't shut up and finish the story already.
He did day he liked it, wanted me to pass it on.
He seemed to like Wafflehouse more, though that maybe the fact that hes intimidated by those many episodes.
He'll probalby read them in a week though. I've already emailed him the PDFs for the first few years, and the few Hydrogens i PDFed myself...
Those and the plans for training his own attack ovine! |

Yeah, I can understand that. There's a fair amount going on right now and it's darn easy to get lost. Although I did try to write this chapter so that no one need know anything about what was going on in the past, it's pretty obvious that it would certainly help.
Wafflehouse makes absolutely no bones about the fact that you need to start from the beginning, but that's mostly because the jokes take longer to set up. _________________ The Grayhound Chronicles

Exactly. You know we're all expecting Wafflehouse to be the longest, most elaborate shaggy dog story ever. _________________ Unitedheroes.net - We're not lazy, we're... um... productivity-challenged. |
