What, no, really?
Indeed. New chaptery goodness. And all that that implies.
Also, note the poll above. That's for you lurkers out there. If you can't post, at least answer the poll. I'm hoping I can figure out why I'm getting 20 unique readers a day, and nobody's posting. _________________ Shihan of Martial Arts Sandwich Making and author of Christopher Ford, Amateur Paranormalist |

Danke.

Yeah, I think that's to keep people from voting twice.
Not like this is a scientific poll or anything. So far the winning picks are Grayhound and Barbara Streisand. _________________ Shihan of Martial Arts Sandwich Making and author of Christopher Ford, Amateur Paranormalist |

Umm... story is gud. i lik.
Keep up work. Gud. Keep up gud work.
Actually, I have enjoyed the complete Ford Saga thus far and even appreciate the GC stories. Some how I found myself at JIM's site and after the cross overs read all of Ford, then Grayhound and am almost finsiehed with GC. I've only made it through the first chapter in Phineas's Journals.
I guess the real reason no one posts is because we don't want to admit how geeky we really are. Or we're just really lazy. _________________ Bob the Goat: All the goat with none of the Malevolence |

Thank's.
I need a 2000 word essay on the benefits of good system's analysis, and the effect that a system's analyst has on a companies information superstructure by thursday.
Think you can help?
Oh, and some one to do my job (play network medal of honour all day) would be useful[code] |

I'm fairly certain you can replace BOfH with Systems Analyst and still have something fairly readable, although you may have to update some of the terminology.
As for MoH, I suck at it. Switch to Soldat and I can deal out some serious ass-kicking. _________________ Shihan of Martial Arts Sandwich Making and author of Christopher Ford, Amateur Paranormalist |

You mean that was Barbara Streisand?
... oh.
Anyway, you haven't sent chocolate or roses. Nor do you have a button that says "give email address for receipt of chocolates and roses here" anywhere on your site.
Hrmppfh.

Which one do I pick for "too lazy to post"?
Seriously, I have a hard time being conversational on message boards. Most of the time if I don't feel like I have something significant to add to the thread, I'm content to read and move on.
I guess it's also because unless I spend extensive time posting messages, the board regulars only have limited exposure to me (a good thing, probably; just ask my friends) and as such whatever I can't get across in the text will fall through the cracks. To borrow from the current poll over on , I guess I'm kind of creating an alter ego here. When you meet someone new and end up spending a lot of time with them (offline, that is), eventually the extensive collective experience ends up giving the new person a fairly complete picture of who you are.
I'm a fairly "control-freak"y type of person, so when I get near-complete control over how people get to see me, something kind of takes over. I have the same problem when I email people that I don't talk to very much. I guess it's like all of the insecurities that I have managed to repress in everyday life come to the surface due to the long period of time that it takes to write a post.
Or maybe I just took too many psych classes in college or something. _________________ -- The All-Powerful Zaxor |

Well, and Neil Diamond.
Which is better than Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton for sure.

And you haven't called me a "jackass" in ages. Who's forgotten who?

No, but I'm giving serious thought to putting a PayPal donation button on my front page with "Are you a fan of Jackass?" right over top of it.

Well, there's no munchkins, but there is a very short cypriot, does that count? Is a person from Cyprus a cypriot? Or are they either Greek or Turkish? Where does the purple go when you drink grape juice?
There's even a little dog too. Though it's a Shiztzu, instead of a terrier. There isn't a tin man, but there are a lot of steel workers, everyone here has the brains of the scarecrow, and um, hmm, I guess there are even a couple lions club members here(including me). So there you go, I guess I really might be in Oz.
