Apparently, I've been doing this for three years.
By my seat-o-the-pants calculations, I should be at chapter 78 right now.
Quite obviously, i'm not. I'm around ten chapters behind, and not getting any closer. Oddly, I have gotten things to pretty much where I wanted them about a year ago. Very nice of life to decide to back up the dumptruck on me. (That's what i get for complaining that I was bored).
Sorry, but still no new chapter of anything really, but here are a few ideas that I had that will never make it into a story:
We're bikers, right? We're tough bugges, right? Why, I've got an entire swarm of hornets in my left nostril alone, see?
You know, they have helmets with face shieldsReally? wow, Rock, you know that would probably cut down on the bugs flying up your
SHUT-IT!
Today's talk "GPA & GWAR" presented by the Heavy Metal Business School.
Bob's Accounts:
Caffine Free Pork Cola.
linear PEZ dispensor
Hot Epox-ettes.
yeah, like I said, I got nothing.
Hopefully I'll get some time to work on things this weekend, but there are a fair number of other projects I've got to clear first.
Anyway, thanks again to both of you for reading.
(And yes, I know you only said you were reading it to be nice and because i was holding a broken bottle) _________________ The Grayhound Chronicles

Three years? I've been reading for most of Grayhound's life!? I didn't know that...(I started about 2 and a half years ago...)

I'm pretty much in the same place too-feel free to rant, complain or otherwise loosen yourself out here- At least what my psychologist said before the shock therapy! |

Great Scarlett O'Hara in a well-worn hairshirt!
Congratulations, JR, on your continued sanity and perserverence!
And some good dangdiddleang fiction, too.

Yay! Happy anniversary, old bean! Just post another chapter or two before the fourth, and we'll be happy. _________________ Unitedheroes.net - We're not lazy, we're... um... productivity-challenged. |

If it's any help, I really honestly do plan on continuing.
The problem is that I've been putting in 16 hour days for work, trying to get a new version of the tidbot working for collective inkwell, taken a shot at converting the comixpedia pages over to use CSS, get a mail server running on my work PC so I can bypass MS Exchange (don't ask), do the various spring work around the yard, get my linux install to recognize my Intel ethernet card (yes I do have the drivers, but I need to build them), debug the VPN link between my house and work, feed and tend my friend's cats while he's off in Europe, leap mighty bullets and run faster than speeding buildings.
Ok, I made up the last two.
But yes, I do plan on starting again. I have no idea when, and I have the stinking suspicion that things will probably pick up after a sizeable gap of time. But I am trying my best to put together various ideas and plot lines that I lost when Mr. Disk Drive got the fits.
As Hetta observed, this is what I get for saying "I'm Bored." _________________ The Grayhound Chronicles
