So in light of the discovery that DC and Marvel own the word "Super Hero", I've been debating the idea of retroactively renaming USHA to UMHA
United Meta Hero Association.
Oddly, I'm finding that I think I like it better.
Partly because of things like "UMHA, chaired by Thur-Man, recently joined for a promotional tour with the Egyptian Sun God Operations group (OP-RA). There is however the ongoing debate of whether to call it UMHA/OP-RA or OP-RA/UMHA. David Letterman has offered to negotiate."

Not to speak of the humor value:
Hello. I'm Agent Beard from the UMHA.
The what?
The UMHA.
The what? Don't mumble man!
The UMHA.
The WHAT?
... ad infinitum. |

Plus, imagine the fun when we introduce them to Oprah!
But, seriously, DC and Marvel own the phrase "Super Hero", eh? Well, they can have it back when they pry the words off my cold, dead tongue.
Man, I'm in the mood for a sandwich now... _________________ Unitedheroes.net - We're not lazy, we're... um... productivity-challenged. |

TSR used to have the term "Nazi" copyrighted. I wonder who owns it now that Richard Garfield's retired to some sunny island with his gajillions of dollars and Hasbro owns all things Tolkien-derived. _________________ Shihan of Martial Arts Sandwich Making and author of Christopher Ford, Amateur Paranormalist |

I could see TSR taking Hitler to court, and winning. _________________ Unitedheroes.net - We're not lazy, we're... um... productivity-challenged. |

What a headline that would make for Hasbro. _________________ Shihan of Martial Arts Sandwich Making and author of Christopher Ford, Amateur Paranormalist |
