Hougan Hears a Howl

Yet another great comic. A truely haunting and sucessfully illustrated comic. I am not sure what to say since you have already heard my praise over and over again. I do find it ironic that a halloween comic is drawn in 13 panels.

I like how you made Hougan look actually kind of scared while he holds his dolly to investigate the noise. It quite shows a contrast to his previous stories. Hougan is finaly filling out as an actual character. That little blue guy looks familure. Where is he from?

I hate to point out that the page numbering is off. Page five is labeled 2 and page seven is labeled 6. Other than that it looks great.

Looking forward to the Christmas special.

Dang page numbers! I had a feeling I had made some slip ups, but never went back to check. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm glad you feel like he is filling out. When I look back at the earlier stories now I kind of cringe. He's changed a lot visually, and he was always kind of a flat participant in whatever was going on. Originally Monster Hollow was going to allow me to flesh out he and Zombilly a little more, but I quickly discovered that I prefer these sort of short vignettes to full-fledged, serialized stories.

I'm trying to get moving on a couple of projects rigth now, but I will certainly be using the Hougan again sometime soon (in fact, he's in this week's Monster Hollow). And as for Christmas, I have something in mind... now I just need to get started
